NASCAR today announced the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series schedule that includes Talladega Superspeedway’s two traditional weekends - the GEICO 500 in April and the YellaWood 500 in October. The 52nd edition of the Talladega springtime classic, GEICO 500, is set for Sunday, April 25, and will be the premier series’ 10th points race of the year. While this year’s YellaWood 500 is just five days away, the 53rd YellaWood 500 will take place on Sunday, October 3, 2021, and will again be the second race in the Round of 12 of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs.

Talladega Superspeedway officials announced today that the socially-distanced grandstand and tower ticket capacity is sold out for Sunday’s YellaWood 500 NASCAR Cup Series Playoff race. A very limited number of camping spaces remain available for purchase in the track’s famous infield for guests with self-contained RVs. Those interested in camping possibilities for the weekend are encouraged to act quickly by calling 1-877-Go2-DEGA.

Officials from Talladega Superspeedway and Chevrolet announced that the intensity-filled elimination race of the first round of the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series Playoffs at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend will be known as the Chevy Silverado 250 at TALLADEGA.

Race fans will have the opportunity to be a part of Talladega Superspeedway’s NASCAR Playoffs weekend, Oct. 2-4, featuring the YellaWood 500 NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, Oct. 4. The high-intensity tripleheader will also consist of the Ag-Pro 300 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Officials from Talladega Superspeedway and Ag-Pro Companies, a regional John Deere dealership across eight states, announced that the newly-scheduled NASCAR Xfinity Series race at NASCAR’s Most Competitive track on Saturday, Oct. 3, will be known as the Ag-Pro 300 at TALLADEGA.

Always playing a vital role in NASCAR’s Playoffs, the annual fall doubleheader, featuring the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series, just expanded to a tripleheader over the course of two days as the NASCAR Xfinity Series will now be a part of the weekend. A spring staple at NASCAR’s Most Competitive Track since 1992, the Xfinity Series will hit the Talladega high banks in the fall for the first time.
